The payment software plug-in when activated will allow site administrators with adequate access privileges to set payment options such as choosing multiple currencies, selecting multiple payment gateways (requires to be added through the Payment plug-in API first), setup exchange rates, set default site currency, make payments to users automatically by interacting with payment gateways API or through mass payment files.
Confirm online and offline deposits when necessary, search user transactions, enable disable gateways on the fly etc.
